• One tribe that invaded was the Huns.One leader was Attila the Hun. Attila was snached from his mother by a Hun soldier and given to his dad. His dad then cut him with a sword on the cheek and gave him back to his mother.
• The Huns would kills and eat the old men of the tribe. The Huns were very fierce in battle and when they were not in battle. The Huns ate foods raw at least partially raw. In battle the Huns would ride chariots and shoot arrows at their targets. They would eat the roots of plants they find in the plains and eat raw meat from animals.
• Another tribe called the Visigoths also known as the Goths. The Goths were actually Rome's allies at once during the war against the Huns.
• When the Roman emperor died the treaty was broken and things got out of [[#|hand]]. The Visigoths/Goths tried to invade modern day Italy but were pushed back by the Roman general named Flavius Stilicho.
• America worries that different countries may want to take the oceans, space, and the cyberspace. These countries are China, India, Iran, Russia, and many more countries.
• Another tribe or barbarian group was the Vandals.The Vandals crossed the Straits of Gibraltar,conquered the rich province of North Africa and built themselves a fleet.
• On June 2, 455 the Vandals sacked Rome with greater force than the Visigoths. They took the treasures from the emperor's palaces on Palatine hill and even the tile from the roofs of the temples.
• The Ostrogoths were another tribe or barbarian group. The were controlled by the Huns until they broke out of the Huns power.
• There leader’s name was Theodoric who was a hostage under the Huns rule. After breaking out of under the power of the Huns Theodoric didn’t lose is tribal skills. Theodoric stade in rule from 493 to his death in 526.

Modern Day Research

• Some Groups of terrorist that the [[#|military]] protects us from are the al-Qa’ida which was recognized on 10/8/1999. The Haqqani Network which was recognized on 9/19/2012. These are two groups tthat the US has to deal with.

• Ways to be prepared for a terrorist attack. 1.Choose a out-of-town contact your family incase there is a disaster that occur. Your selected contact should live far enough away that they would be unlikely to be directly affected by the same event, and they should know they are the chosen contact. Leave these contact numbers at your children’s [[#|schools]], if you have children, and at your workplace. You should try to call family or if it doesn’t work stay calm and try later or try email.

• 2.Make a meeting place away from your home and from the spot the disaster happened. You should make arrangements to stay at a family member's house. If you have pets you should make a plan for the pets because some place will not accept pets.

• Tightened border security is an inconvenience for the millions of people that have no intention of harming the US, but Homeland Security felt that this was the only way to watch who enters and leaves the country.
